The LCC “Mystery” Brunch Run 3-19-2007
Our First “Mystery” Brunch Run of the Lakes Corvette Club
was a GREAT success. We started out at 10:30AM on a brisk but
beautiful sunny day in Marlton and headed out on our ‘Mystery’ ride. A total
of 28 LCC members made the wise decision to travel the highways and byways
to enjoy the event. Due to some of the wet conditions on the highways from
Friday’s snow, sleet and rainstorm we almost didn’t have any Corvette’s but
Karen and Alan came to the rescue with their 77 silver streak Corvette to
join the pack. We arrived at “Adelphia’s” restaurant in Deptford where we
all enjoyed a wonderful and delicious brunch. Talk about a spread – WOW! Everyone
had a wonderful time, enjoyed the food and friends. We celebrated Nick’s birthday
and played a game of “Brunch Run Trivia” created by Ginny and the lucky winners
were Amy Laudicina and Ray Reeves. This was a super first of many events to
come throughout the year. For those who missed out on this event the next
